Our Experience

We go through tablets quickly in our house, what with three kids ages 7 to 10, so I was pleased to find that this Fire HD 8 Kids Pro lasted a whole week without needing a recharge – even after heavy use by all of them.

I really appreciated the parental controls. It's like having a personal assistant for setting time limits and blocking inappropriate content. The kids loved the kid-friendly web browser, which let them explore safely on their own.

However, I found that the case provided with it was a bit too loose, allowing the tablet to wobble around inside. A snugger fit would've been better for our active bunch.

The screen's not as sharp as our older tablet, but honestly, the kids didn't seem to mind. For the price and all its kid-friendly features, this one's a keeper.
