Compared to pricier options, the Apple Magic Keyboard feels like a steal at $119. It's not just about the numeric keypad – though that's a game-changer for data-heavy tasks – but the overall design and functionality. The keys are so satisfyingly responsive, it's like typing on glass. And the rechargeable battery life? Impressive, lasting me almost three weeks with daily use.

However, pairing the keyboard with my MacBook Pro took longer than I'd have liked. There was a brief moment of tech-angst before it connected, but once it did, it was smooth sailing. Minor gripe, really, given how well it performs thereafter.

I'm not usually one for brand loyalty, but the Apple ecosystem makes sense here – and at this price point, it's hard to complain about value.
