Our Experience

I finally decided to try this Canon EF 75-300mm lens after upgrading my camera body. I wanted a telephoto zoom to capture distant subjects without breaking the bank. This renewed version was a steal at $169. The focal range is perfect for my wildlife photography hobby; I could clearly frame a squirrel across the park, even in lower light thanks to its f/4-5.6 aperture.

What I loved most was how sharp and detailed the images were, even when zoomed in all the way at 300mm. My only minor critique is that it's not image stabilized like my other lenses, but for the price, I wasn't expecting that. It's a bit heavier than my usual lens, which took some getting used to, but overall, I'm really pleased with this purchase and look forward to capturing more from afar.
