We go through things quickly in our house, especially tech gadgets that need to withstand curious little hands and harsh weather conditions. So, when I decided to invest in outdoor security cameras, I wanted something robust and reliable. The eufy SoloCam S340 seemed like a good fit.

I've had it installed for about three weeks now, and so far, it's been great. My favorite feature is the solar panel - no wires needed, just stick it on my roof facing south, and it charges itself. It's also waterproof and weather-resistant, which gives me peace of mind considering our unpredictable weather.

However, there's one minor critique I have. While the app is user-friendly, the motion sensitivity settings could be more intuitive. It took some trial and error to figure out how sensitive I wanted it to be without getting too many false alerts. But once set up right, it works like a charm.

All in all, for the price, the eufy SoloCam S340 has been a solid purchase that meets my practical needs as a parent keeping an eye on our home from afar.
