I spent hours comparing options before settling on Square Enix's FINAL FANTASY I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition (NSW). My research led me to appreciate this remastered collection's commitment to preserving the original 2D pixel art style, which retains the nostalgic charm of my childhood gaming experiences. The universally updated graphics are a delightful blend of familiarity and modernity.
The Anniversary Edition's inclusion of a pixel character sticker sheet was an unexpected but welcomed bonus. It added a tactile element to my enjoyment, allowing me to physically interact with the games in a way that transported me back to trading stickers during recess as a kid.
However, one minor critique is the lack of a save-anywhere feature in some of the remasters.

This game is fantastic. It collects all of the class Final Fantasy games and they look beautiful on an HD TV. The value here is amazing as you get 6 games for 1 very reasonable price. The bonus stickers were a nice touch as well. If you like classic RPG games then this collection is definitely a great game to pick up. I highly recommend it.
Sometimes you can improve on a classic. Awesome collection of the six old-school Final Fantasy titles -some of the greatest and most popular role playing games of all time. I totally love the beautifully remastered pixels and orchestral music (with a retro-style option), they did not go overboard updating the masterpieces, and the games maintain their classic look and feel. The grand stories, filled mystical heroes, epic villains, a plethora of magical beasts, and quirky melodrama are all intact
I had played a couple Final Fantasy Games as a kid on my Nintendo... they were pretty pricey back then, but one of my friends would allow me to borrow his when he was done. Of course, he always had the walk through books and made these games a lot easier than they would have been.Fast forward 35 years...and I do mean FAST... these are a great reminder of what video games were like for us. Not a ton of brutal violence or realistic graphics... just pixelated characters navigating classic story
Haven't had the opportunity to play much yet, but for the price, having all of the older games is great! Well worth the money. Came sealed and quickly got to me.
If you are looking to replay the classics, or want to play them for the first time to see how the Final Fantasy series started, this is the way to go. I do like the old school graphics and aspects of the originals, and think they are better than the remakes. But at the same time, the remakes gives them a fresh coat of paint so-to-speak, and makes the graphics a little less painful for the people who are not accustomed to the 8 and 16 bit era. I also liked that they have Trophies/Achievements
