The specs of the Garmin Approach® S44 caught my attention due to its AMOLED display and on-course features. As a detail-oriented researcher, I wanted to experience these aspects firsthand before making any decisions. After a week's usage, I found the 1.2" AMOLED display quite impressive, offering excellent readability even under direct sunlight. It's not just about looks; the screen's responsiveness made navigating through menus and tracking stats smooth and efficient. However, my minor critique goes to its battery life. While it does last a full round with GPS on, I found myself charging it every other day for general use, which is slightly less than ideal but manageable nonetheless.
