Our Experience

I was skeptical at first, the Hisense QD7 seemed too good to be true at its price point. But I'm glad I took a chance on it. The Mini-LED backlighting is impressive – blacks are deep, and peak brightness is stunning, especially for sports viewing.

Setting up Alexa was a breeze, and while I initially thought I wouldn't use it much, I found myself asking her to switch inputs or adjust volume more often than not. However, the speakers could be louder; they're adequate but lack punch during action-packed scenes.

The smart TV interface is clean and intuitive, with Fire TV doing a great job of aggregating my favorite apps. But occasionally, it would lag when switching between them.

Overall, for under $600, the Hisense QD7 punches well above its weight. It's not perfect, but the picture quality alone makes it a solid contender in this price range.
