I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but the Kwikset HomeConnect has been a pleasant surprise. It's not flashy, just a straightforward smart lock that does its job well. I liked how easy it was to set up - no need for complex wiring or drilling holes into my door frame. The Z-Wave feature allows it to connect seamlessly with my existing smart home system, and the long-range capability ensures reliable unlocking even from my garage.

However, the lock takes about three seconds to engage after you've pressed the code, which feels just slightly too slow when I'm rushing out the door in the morning. But for $150, this lock offers great bang-for-buck value with its convenience and reliable performance.
