There is no match to brass for step up rings compared to aluminun ones. This is my 3rd NiSi product and I love them. Brass threads have so much less friction and binding compared to aluminum threads. Well built products that I am positive will stand up to the test of time.

The quality is very good on this one. I don't mind paying more money for quality. I was actually deciding to buy either this brand or the Breakthrough. But after researching Breakthrough, I was not happy about their sneaky marketing strategy. Breakthrough is trying to imply they are made in the USA (displaying the US flag on their product and naming their product Breakthrough "San Francisco"). I’m really impressed with this product! The brass material gives it a solid, durable feel, and it definitely doesn’t come off as cheap quality. Just a word of caution: when installing it, make sure to align the threads properly and screw it in slowly. If you rush it, you might damage the threads. This is likely why some people have had issues. Overall, it’s a fantastic product and definitely worth the investment!
