For the price, this is impressive. I've been using the PowerA Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S for nearly a month now and it's proven itself to be an excellent bang-for-buck purchase. The ergonomics are spot on, fitting comfortably in my hands even during marathon gaming sessions.
My favorite feature has got to be the Dual Rumble Motors. They're not overpowering but they add just the right amount of immersion, making explosions and impacts feel more visceral.
Only minor critique is that the USB-C cable, while long (10 ft), feels a tad too stiff at first. But it's something I've gotten used to and isn't enough to detract from the overall great value this controller offers.
I’ve had a few Power A products in the past and I will say they’ve lasted me a good few years. 10/10. This controller works like a charm. Better than I thought. I love the feel and material. It also arrived earlier than I anticipated.
Update: Eight months later and still no stick drift or bad cables.-I bought some of these to replace my Microsoft and PDP controllers which were complete junk. The Microsoft Xbox One controller lasted about three months before stick drift took over and made it unusable. I only used it lightly (an hour or 2 every other day, sometimes daily) for about 4 weeks before the cord gave out.*Edit: I built a second pc and tried the controller again and it worked without a problem. I will update if it doesnt work again, but so far it works as great as when I first got it a few months ago. Great product if it con
I’ve had this controller for almost a year now. Still works great for me. The only thing is the wire has split, but that’s super easy and cheap to replace.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIP FOR WINDOWS 10:I bought and returned 2 of these controllers because I though they were defective. When a 3rd one had the same problem, I got angry and started just mashing buttons. It turns out, Windows and any games on your computer will not recognize the controller (and the light never turns on) unless you press the giant X button at the top-middle of the controller. So if this seems like a brick when you plug it into your computer, press the X button (the one with the XBO
