Our Experience

After months of hearing my friends rave about their Razer headsets, I finally decided to try this BlackShark V2. Being on a budget, I was hesitant at first, but the combination of wireless functionality and THX Spatial Audio at under $80 sealed the deal.





The first thing that struck me was how comfortable these are. Even after hours of gaming, my ears never felt sore or hot. The ear cushions are plush, and the headband's padding is just right. I could actually focus on my game instead of adjusting my headset every few minutes.





As for sound quality, it's impressive. The bass is punchy without overpowering the other frequencies. I could hear enemies' footsteps clearly in Call of Duty: Warzone, giving me a definite advantage. The THX Spatial Audio really immerses you in the game world. It took some getting used to at first, but once I did, it was fantastic.





My one minor critique is that the volume controls on the headset itself are too sensitive. A slight touch can crank up or down the volume dramatically. But once you're used to it, it's a small price to pay for such great audio performance. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. This headset has made gaming more enjoyable for me, and at this price point, it's an excellent buy.
