The price made me hesitant but I was pleasantly surprised by the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. Initially, I thought it might be overkill for my small apartment building, but after three weeks of testing, it's proven its worth. Installation was a breeze; no hardwiring required, just a few screws and the included tools had it up in minutes. I love the adjustable motion zones, which helped reduce false alerts from passing traffic. The HD+ video is crystal clear, even at night with the enhanced motion sensors. However, the battery life could be better; despite Ring's claims of six months, I've had to charge it once already after a month of moderate use. Still, for the peace of mind it provides, especially when I'm away from home, it's been a great investment.
