For the price, this Sony FE 50mm lens is impressive - it's an affordable alternative to the pricier G Master versions, but doesn't skimp on quality. The sharpness and bokeh are fantastic; I love how it renders out-of-focus areas with a lovely, smooth falloff. My only minor critique would be that autofocus can hunt a bit in low light, though it's still fast and accurate most of the time. All in all, it's an excellent bang-for-buck option for anyone looking to add a versatile, high-performing 50mm lens to their Sony E-mount collection.
