Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this Tapo camera due to its lower price point. I've had experience with pricier models that promised more but delivered less. But after reading some reviews and seeing PCMag's stamp of approval, I decided to give it a shot.

After installing it outdoors, I was pleasantly surprised by the 2K resolution during daytime - it's crystal clear, even picking up details like license plates. Night vision is also impressive; it's not quite as sharp but still readable. The camera's design is sleek and unobtrusive too, blending well with my exterior.

However, there's a minor gripe: the app could be more intuitive for adjusting settings. It took me a few tries to figure out how to change motion sensitivity zones.

All in all, for the price, this Tapo camera punches way above its weight. If you're looking for an affordable security option without sacrificing too much on quality, give it a shot - just be patient with the app.
