Our Experience
Upgraded from my old Samsung to this TCL and it's a total game-changer! The sheer size of the 98-inch screen is jaw-dropping; it's like having a personal IMAX in your living room. The QLED PRO tech really makes colors pop - watching "The Mandalorian" felt like I was right there in the deserts of Blurrg Country.
One thing that blew me away is the High Brightness+ backlight. Even with my curtains open during the day, the image is crystal clear and vibrant. It's perfect for my light-filled apartment.
However, I did notice a slight lag when playing graphic-intensive games like "Cyberpunk 2077". The 144Hz VRR didn't seem to kick in as expected. But hey, for casual gaming and Netflix binges, it's still an amazing TV.

Bought during a sale for very fair price feb/2025 yes for the SuperBowl! it’s Been a little bit of a learning curve with google as the t.v.’s Platform and Interface but not to difficult ! For the price the picture is Incredible and Adjusts to your use. We use it for gaming, games, movies, and even browsing the internet and It’s Proven to be more than competent and convenient and simple to use get channels I watch and Connect to all my devices including Alexa!!! Great BUY!!
The picture is really decent for a *non local dimming QLED HDTV. Using a Hisense 2.1 soundbar so can't say anything about speakers, yet some say there fine. If your moving up from dirt cheap tv the sound on this may be okay for you. If buying a sound bar get the 2.1 for better bass. I dislike the google interface due to not being familiar with it. I love this tv so far for the price! It has an amazing picture quality, great colors! And the operating system is very fast. Quick setup and connected to your phone to log you in. Viewing angle is really good, and it handles reflections in a bright room well! For the money this was amazing, the benefit getting this over a cheaper Walmart tv is that you can game with this one it has good response time in game mode.
