The motion sensing backlight is brilliant - no more fumbling around with dirty hands to turn it on. It picks up my movements instantly, lighting up the display in a clear, easy-to-read font. One minor thing I've noticed is that the probe could be slightly longer. Sometimes, especially with larger cuts of meat like roasts, I wish it reached just an inch or two deeper to get an even more accurate reading. But that's a tiny gripe for such a handy tool at this price point. It's become my kitchen sidekick, making sure our meals are perfectly cooked and safe every time.
