The specs of the Toshiba V35KC caught my attention due to its REGZA Engine and Direct LED features, promising enhanced picture quality beyond HD capability. I purchased this TV for a three-week trial, aiming to assess its performance under various conditions.

After rigorous testing, I found that the Direct LED backlight truly delivers uniform brightness across the screen. The contrast was particularly impressive when viewing dark scenes in movies like "The Dark Knight". However, while the REGZA Engine generally provides good detail enhancement, it occasionally introduced slight noise in lower-quality streaming content.

The bezel-less design is aesthetically pleasing and offers more viewable area than conventional models. It's a subtle touch that contributes to an immersive viewing experience.

My minor critique lies with the voice remote.
