I needed something that could handle daily use, capture my kids' sports games and recitals without breaking the bank. This camera delivered. The 1080p resolution was crisp enough to see my son's goal from the stands. I loved the night vision mode; it was a lifesaver at our camping trip last weekend. My only minor critique is the battery life, it could be better for longer events. But overall, it's been a great addition to our family's video collection.
