Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this WD My Passport Ultra because of its price. For $150, I expected it to be an indestructible fortress for my data. But hey, after using it for nearly a month, I'm glad I took the leap.

First off, the build quality is impressive. It's sleek, light, and has this satisfying solidity when you pick it up. The USB 3.0 connection was a breeze to set up, and I appreciated the activity LED light that glows blue when in use.

My only minor critique is the software. While WD Backup worked well enough, it's not as intuitive or feature-rich as some other backup solutions I've used. But for the price and ease of use, it gets the job done.

All in all, if you're looking for a reliable external drive with a reasonable capacity, this one should serve you well. Just don't expect it to survive a drop from your 3rd-floor balcony.
