Our Experience

The price made me hesitant - two grand cameras and floodlights seemed too good to be true at just seventy bucks. But after a month, I must say, this Wyze Floodlight Camera v2 has pleasantly surprised me.

First off, the color night vision is fantastic. On my first test, it picked up my cat darting across the yard in full color under the moonlight, something my old camera couldn't manage with its black and white nightscape. It's like having a tiny security guard on patrol 24/7.

However, while the motion detection is generally reliable, I found that it sometimes gets triggered by small animals or even strong wind rustling leaves. It hasn't been a big issue yet, but it might lead to some unnecessary notifications if you're sensitive about such things.

All in all, for less than seventy bucks, this camera delivers a lot more than I expected. It's not perfect, but it's a steal at that price.
