Our Experience

The specs of the ZimaBoard 2 caught my attention due to its robust quad-core processor and generous memory allocation. After three weeks of rigorous testing, I found this single board server lived up to its promise.

Upon unboxing, I appreciated the meticulous craftsmanship, evident in the sleek design and sturdy build quality. The Intel N150's performance was impressive, handling my heavy workloads with ease. It maintained a steady 3.3 GHz clock speed throughout my testing, which included running several virtual machines simultaneously.

However, one minor critique I have is the thermal management. While it didn't cause any throttling issues, the board did get noticeably warm during prolonged high-load periods. This might necessitate additional cooling measures in demanding server environments.

Overall, the ZimaBoard 2 has been a reliable workhorse for my research needs, proving itself as an excellent value-for-money single board server.
