For the price, these Amazon Basics batteries are impressive. I've been using them for three weeks now, powering a mix of remotes and toys around the house, and they've held up well. My favorite thing about them is their consistency - no sudden deaths halfway through use, which has been a common issue with other brands.

One minor critique, though, is that they don't seem to last quite as long as some more expensive brands I've used in higher-drain devices like my kids' toys. But for everyday items like remotes and flashlights, they're excellent value. At around $0.27 each, it's hard to complain when you consider the 10-year shelf life.
