Our Experience

I was skeptical at first about splurging on the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, considering its high price tag. I've been a Canon user since my Rebel T3i days, but this was a significant jump in both cost and capability. After two weeks of testing, however, I'm impressed with what I've captured.

The autofocus is remarkable - even in low light, it's swift and accurate. I managed to capture sharp images of my active toddler playing outdoors at dusk, something that would've been near impossible with my previous camera. The dynamic range and color reproduction are stunning too; my landscapes look vibrant yet natural.

My only minor critique? The battery life is still the same old Canon story - it drains quicker than I'd like, especially when using live view or shooting in burst mode. But overall, if you're a serious enthusiast considering an upgrade to full-frame, this camera delivers on its promises.
