The price made me hesitant, to be honest. Five hundred bucks for a laptop seemed almost too good to be true. I needed something reliable for work, though, and my old one was on its last legs. So, I took a chance on the HP 255 G10. First off, let me say, it's not a flashy machine. It's got that classic HP design - nothing too fancy, but it looks professional enough. After two weeks of using it daily, I've found it to be just right for my needs. The Ryzen 3 processor handles my usual tasks - word processing, email, some light video editing - like a charm. It's not lightning-fast, mind you, but it gets the job done without any lag or crashes. What I really love about this laptop is its screen.

Great quality laptop to replace an aging one that could not run windows 11. Battery life is good, but only time will tell how long that will last. Screen resolution and brightness are great. Touch screen functionality will not really be used, but hey, it works if necessary. This is on the lighter side, so portability is good.
I love this laptop! The storage is amazing, 1TB gives me plenty of space for all my school files, work apps, and everything in between. It runs smooth and fast, and I’m able to have multiple apps open without any issues. The only thing I noticed is that the fan can get a little loud sometimes, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The only real downside is the battery life, it doesn’t last long, so I keep the charger nearby. But overall, it’s a solid laptop. Super happy with my purchase!

Good value. I purchased this model: (HP 255 G10 Laptop, Ryzen 3 7330U, 15.6", 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD with Windows 11 Pro) from the seller Chromebook Prosale via Amazon for $399 in December of 2024.I had to return the first one because it had a RAM error. Every other time I started it, the Caps Lock LED would blink (3 long and two short). According to the documentation, that meant a RAM issue. Might have just needed a cleaning or the RAM was installed improperly. (more on that later.) I'll never know
I have had zero battery issues, I have received it a couple of hours ago, which were spent removing bloatware, unwanted apps, and uploading my stuff. Battery issues still half full.The keyboard texture is uncomfortable to me ( feel grainy). The “on” button is randomly placed. My last HP was silver with a silver and extra smooth keyboard, and the keys were slippery and hard to see. Looks like they over corrected the issues (my first HP was great).The biggest issue is the trackpad. It is sluggish,
