Our Experience

The price made me hesitant, but after paying just under twenty bucks for this Rioddas external DVD drive, I figured it was worth a shot. I've had cheap drives before that broke within months, so I wasn't expecting much.

First off, the design is surprisingly compact and sleek, which was a nice surprise. It's lightweight too, making it easy to carry around with my laptop. The one thing I really liked was how quickly it connected via USB. No drivers needed – just plug it in, and off we went.

Now, onto the catch: the disc tray feels a bit flimsy. It's not a deal-breaker, but after a week of use, there's some slight play when I open or close it. Hopefully, it doesn't become an issue down the line.

All in all, for the price, this Rioddas drive has been performing well. I'll keep using it cautiously and hope the tray holds up. It's not perfect, but at least it's not breaking my bank or my back either.
