My friend recommended this IronWolf when I decided to upgrade my old NAS setup. I've been wanting a reliable, high-capacity drive for my growing file collection and this 8TB seemed perfect. After using it for almost a month now, I must say I'm impressed with its performance. The initial setup was breeze – it just clicked into place in my Synology DS916+ like it belonged there. And the speed? Wow! Backing up my large video files is no longer a waiting game. It's been running smoothly at 7200 RPM, hardly any noise too.

However, I noticed that the drive tends to get quite warm after prolonged use, which isn't unusual for a NAS drive, but it did make me keep an eye on it initially. Other than that minor observation, the Seagate IronWolf has been working like a charm and I'm glad I took my friend's advice!
