QC and XM sound more synthetic than this one(even EQ didn't help them - plastic rumble without depth). Build quality - feels solid in the hands(hello Bose QC). These things sound amazing and are very easy to use and connect. Noise cancellation blocks out most background noises like fans very effective. I use this while talking on the phone quite a bit and no one has complained about the mic. They’re comfortable to use and I often wear them for hours. Sound quality is very good.
