Our Experience

With a busy household and two teens prepping for college entrance exams, we needed an accurate, reliable calculator. I picked up this renewed Texas Instruments TI-89 Titanium after hearing it was used in advanced math classes. After a week of use, here's my take:

First off, the screen is bright and easy to read, even from across the room – a bonus for those late-night study sessions. It's also got some serious computational power under its hood; my daughter breezed through complex calculus problems with ease.

My one gripe? The menus are a tad confusing at first. I had to spend some time familiarizing myself before I could navigate it smoothly. But, once you're past that initial learning curve, it's smooth sailing.

All in all, this calculator is a sturdy, capable tool for the serious student or parent who wants to help their child master advanced mathematics.
