I finally decided to try this Uniden BPS100 battery after my old scanner's battery life dwindled down to mere minutes. I'd been holding off on replacing it because I didn't want to shell out for another pricey one. But after seeing how affordable and well-reviewed this model was, I took the plunge.

I've been using it for three weeks now, and I'm pretty impressed with its longevity. It lasts nearly all day even when I'm scanning actively, which is a significant improvement from my last battery. The recharge time is also quite reasonable - just over two hours from zero to full. However, I did notice that the battery indicator seems to be slightly generous; it shows about 20% more charge than what's actually left in the tank.

Overall though, for the price and performance, this Uniden BPS100 has been a great purchase. It's breathed new life into my scanner, and I no longer have to worry about running out of juice mid-scan.
