Bought this to use for streaming in lieu of an aging gaming system. The remote allows for verbal input so you don’t have to type. There are a ton of free channels, and you can even connect it to your mobile phone to use the phone as a remote. Comparable with many mobile phones. Quick and easy installation. Compact design. The remote even allows you to power on/off the television and control the volume. This is our third Roku and the best one by far!

Easy to set up. Most painstaking part is logging into all the apps, but even that took less than 30 minutes total for about 10 apps. Love it because you can use on a TV not in your home, and have it set up exactly like the TV in your home (be aware - some apps have restrictions on what you can play when not at home, e.g. NFL recordings on Xfinity, but that has nothing to do with Roku. Seems like better quality than the renewed express unit I replaced. My old one was overheating so got this one to replace it after 4+ years of daily use. I would give it 5 stars but I don't know if it will last for years like the old one. It has some cool new features, but I wish it wasn't an RF-only remote (due to the stick being in back of your TV), since now I can't use my universal IR remote to control it. AT ALL. Another reason for no 5th star...Picture and interface speed are great though!
