For the price, this Uniden BC355N scanner is impressive. I've been looking for an affordable way to monitor local frequencies, and this 300-channel base/mobile scanner fit the bill perfectly. The Close Call Capture feature was a game-changer; it automatically tunes to stronger signals within range, making it incredibly easy to find active channels.

However, one minor critique is that the display could be a bit brighter for better visibility in sunlight. But given its price and performance, it's an excellent value-conscious purchase.
